Onyx Equities secures 320k sf worth of Tri-State leases in March and April

Despite the economic slowdown of the last few weeks, Carlstadt-based Onyx Equities has secured new leases and extensions in the Tri-State area, according to NJBIZ. The firm owns or manages more than 6.5 million square feet of real estate in region. Law firm McCarter & English LLP signed a 10-year extension for its 117,300-square-foot lease at an office property in Newark. 1-800-Flowers signed a 97,000-square-foot lease in Jericho in Long Island, which is about 20 percent larger than the company’s current office in North Hempstead.
