Luxury retailers follow the moneyed herd to the Hamptons

High-end New York-based retailers are heading east to cater to their now Hamptons-based clientele, according to Glossy. Maternity brand Hatch is offering curbside pickup through The Westside boutique in Southampton. Bergdorf Goodman announced last week complimentary delivery service to the Hamptons. Saks Fifth Avenue did the same. Other New York businesses that rely heavily on the city’s wealthy residents are doing the same. A flood of wealthy New Yorkers headed to the Hamptons as coronavirus spread through the city earlier this year. Some restaurants have set up stores in the Hamptons, while others are delivery ready-to-cook food. A pair of blue chip art galleries also opened up shops on the East End.
