The 85-year-old brick mansion spans 9,000 square feet and has seven bedrooms and five bathrooms. The 15-acre grounds include a caretaker’s cottage, pool, pool house and manicured gardens and lawns. There’s also 846 feet of frontage on the sound and a private road leading to the David Weld Sanctuary.

This is the first time the property has been for sale since 1984. Tom Postilio and Mickey Conlon of Douglas Elliman have the listing. [Mansion Global] — Dennis Lynch
