Sprawling, 1930s-era North Shore estate hits the market

A stately manor on Long Island Sound in Nissequogue is on the market for $14.6 million, according to Mansion Global.

The 85-year-old brick mansion spans 9,000 square feet and has seven bedrooms and five bathrooms. The 15-acre grounds include a caretaker’s cottage, pool, pool house and manicured gardens and lawns. There’s also 846 feet of frontage on the sound and a private road leading to the David Weld Sanctuary.
