Record executive Cory Robbins has picked up a Southampton estate for $18.1 million, according to the Southampton Press. Robbins’ new home was built in 2013 by George Jr. Vickers Enterprises and last sold in 2015 for $16.1 million.

The property spans 12,200 square feet on two acres, and has a total of nine bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. (The master bedroom itself is the size of a small house, at 1,200 square feet.)

There are multiple components to the property: The main home has several wings, with a “utilitarian” section (with a butler’s pantry and mudroom), a three-car garage, several gathering spaces and guest suites that come with their own kitchenettes. Elsewhere there is a home theater, wine bar and gym. The grounds include a heated pool and spa and a tennis court.

Robbins founded two record labels: Profile Records, which signed Run-DMC in the 1980s, and Robbins Entertainment, which specializes in dance music. [Southampton Press] — Dennis Lynch
