A nearly four-acre property in Shelter Island with sweeping views across the North Fork is hitting the market for $7.8 million.

Andrew Cogan, CEO of the furniture company Knoll Inc., combined two parcels bought in 2007 and 2010 to create the property,  according to Mansion Global. He hired architect Michael Haverland to expand a 1925 beach house there, bringing the total square footage up to 6,000 square feet.
