A shovel-ready residential development site spanning 144 acres next to the Centennial Golf Club in Carmel has hit the market.

Just over 30 miles north of White Plains, the property, at 2054 U.S. Route 6, is entitled for a mix of 300 condos, townhomes or single-family homes. The Lower Hudson Valley site is mostly wooded with a 37-acre lake to the east.

A site plan provided by listing agency Marcus & Millichap shows the development site is flanked on three sides by the Centennial Golf Club’s 27-hole course. The eastern portion of the site, on the lake, is planned as mostly open space.

Michael Turkiewicz of Institutional Property Advisors and Chez Eider of Marcus & Millichap have the listing and are marketing it as an “active adult community development opportunity.”
