An entity tied to Reuben Brothers bought a waterfront spec home on Miami Beach’s North Bay Road.

Denise Vohra LLC, a Florida entity named for Dr. Ameet Vohra’s wife, sold the house at 2000 North Bay Road for $14 million to a Delaware entity named for the address, records show.

Lisa Blake of Villazzo had the listing, and Oren Alexander of Official brought the buyer.

The deed lists the buyer’s address as the Allen Park, Michigan headquarters of Metro International Trade Services, a metals warehouse firm. British billionaires David and Simon Reuben’s investment firm, Reuben Brothers, acquired Metro International for an undisclosed amount in 2014. The Reubens are also making South Florida real estate moves. In 2022, their firm acquired the 53-key Chesterfield Hotel in Palm Beach for $42 million. In 2021, they sought to foreclose the Zaha Hadid-designed One Thousand Museum before the developers landed a $90 million refinancing from Cirrus Real Estate Partners.

Dr. Ameet Vohra founded Miramar-based Vohra Wound Physicians, one of the largest wound care specialty groups in the country. The group has more than 300 wound care specialists across 30 states, according to its website.

Vohra and his wife, Denise Vohra, are also regular investors in South Florida real estate. In 2017, they sold a waterfront North Bay Road spec home for $14 million, and in 2019, they sold a Sunset Islands waterfront spec house in Miami Beach for $19.2 million.

They bought the 0.3-acre site at 2000 North Bay Road for $2.7 million in 2017, records show. The couple completed a 5,700-square-foot house with four bedrooms, four bathrooms and one half-bathroom this year, the listing shows. The property also has 80 feet of waterfront and a dock with capacity for a 60-foot boat.

The Vohras listed the house for $24.9 million in 2023, Compass shows.

Alexander said his buyers wanted turnkey new construction on the water, an in-demand, low-in supply commodity in Miami Beach’s current market. At the sale price, “they got a great deal,” he said.

Waterfront North Bay Road homes are popular among South Florida’s well-heeled buyers. Billionaire Barry Diller bought a 1.5-acre waterfront lot in April for a record $45 million

Also last month, developer Keith Menin bought a waterfront North Bay Road home for $16.1 million
