More than 70 percent of respondents to a poll this week think the city’s 421a tax incentive program for new development should either be scrapped completely or changed. The 421a, started in 1971, gives tax breaks to developers in large parts of the city. It’s currently under review by a task force created by Mayor Bloomberg. more [Crain’s]
