Hunter College will look into selling off its 3.5-acre nursing campus in Kips Bay as part of an effort to raise money for the construction of a new college building on the Upper East Side. Hunter is expected to issue a request for expressions of interest for the nursing campus, located at 25th Street and the F.D.R. Drive, by the end of the year. Proceeds from the potential sale would go toward the construction of a 16-story tower at 67th Street and Second Avenue, closer to Hunter’s overcrowded main campus. more [NYO]
