Next Thursday, Spring Theatreworks will begin staging a play called “Arden: The Lamentable Tragedie of a Dumbo Real Estate Mogul,” an adaptation of George Lillo’s 1739 “Arden of Feversham.” The play tells the story of Thomas Arden, a major player in the Dumbo real estate market who the city has given the rights to develop a valuable plot of land because of his political connections. In real life, the biggest developer in Dumbo and all of Brooklyn is David Walentas of Two Trees Management. TRD
