The planned redevelopment of Williamsburg’s Domino Sugar Refinery will include “up to 9 new residential structures along four of the waterfront blocks between Grand Avenue and South 5th Street and up to 6 new residential structures on the upland block between South 3rd and 4th Streets,” according to a scope document for the site submitted to City Planning. Developers Isaac Katan and the Community Preservation Corporation want to construct two of the buildings in what they’re dubbing “New Domino” at heights greater than 300 feet. The developers intend to incorporate three of the refinery complex’s buildings that are expected to receive landmark status into their project. more [Curbed]
