Google could be creating a city-based campus in Chelsea similar to the one it has in Mountain View, Calif., according to reports. The search giant has expanded by 49,000 square feet in its city headquarters at 76 Ninth Avenue, bringing its total occupancy in the building to 360,000 square feet. At the same time, Google may be the tenant in a 100,000-square-foot lease agreement across the street in the Chelsea Market at 75 Ninth Avenue. more [NYO]
