Top Buildings Department official lacks license

Manhattan Buildings Commissioner Christopher Santulli reportedly lacks an up-to-date engineering license from the state Office of the Professions, which states on its website that he is “not registered.” Santulli’s license expired in July, according to the state agency. A Buildings Department spokeswoman said he never received any notice that his license needed to be renewed.
