In a Manhattan Supreme Court case this week, divorce lawyer Manuel
Martinez will be prosecuted for the 1990 murder of real estate investor
George Kogan. Martinez was the divorce lawyer of Kogan’s wife, and is
accused of hiring a hit man to kill Kogan, which resulted in his wife’s
receiving $4.3 million in life insurance.
