Debris fell from the Kalahari Harlem residential condo building yesterday at 116th Street and Fifth Avenue. The debris was either due to partial wall collapse or excess construction debris, authorities said. Two stucco-like surface panels, about three stories high and three stories wide, fell onto a market in the neighboring lot. The Fire Department reported that nobody was hurt. Earlier this week, Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced that 63 new building inspectors will be hired for more inspections.
