A buyer paid $24.64 million for a 5,047-square-foot apartment in The Plaza Hotel.

The buyer, identified only as Plaza One Acquisition, closed on unit 807, which has views to the north and east. The sale closed on June 20, according to city records published today.

The sale price puts the cost per square foot for the condominium at $4,882.
