15 CPW penthouse sells for $19.4 million

A 4,271-square-foot penthouse on the 41st floor of the 15 Central Park
West tower building sold for $19.4 million.

The three-bedroom apartment with views west, south and east has a
1,910-square-foot terrace.

The buyers, who were not identified, signed a contract in October
2005, and closed on the purchase June 18, according to city records
published today.

There are 15 penthouses in the two-building complex, including seven
in the tower.
