Brooke Astor duplex may see price cut

The price of Brooke Astor’s duplex at 778 Park Avenue, at 72nd Street, has reportedly been cut
nearly 25 percent, to $35 million from $46 million, according to Women’s Wear Daily. The unit is still listed on
Corcoran’s Web site, however, at $46 million. Corcoran broker Leighton Candler
is handling the property, which has 14 rooms, six terraces, five fireplaces,
five-plus bathrooms and four-plus bedrooms.
