Grimaldi’s coming to FiDi

Grimaldi’s owner Frank Ciolli has signed a 20-year lease at 135 John Street, near Water Street, and plans on opening a new outpost of His Famed Pizza Place there. Ciolli said the restaurant, which is directly across the river from the Brooklyn eatery, will open in early 2009. The space will be slightly larger than the restaurant in Dumbo, and it will have the same menu.
