One bid left for Starrett City

There’s only one bid left for Brooklyn’s
Starrett City, the country’s largest subsidized public housing complex. The Cogsville Group, which includes the Christian Culture
Center, is the only bidder left, and is now trying to buy the property for
$600 to $700 million. The asking price for the complex was once $1.3
billion, and Reverend A.R. Bernard of the Christian Culture Group said
the lower price tag will help keep Starrett City affordable.
