The unit with the biggest price cut today in Manhattan is a
two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath apartment at the Jumeirah Essex House at 160 Central Park South,
according to Streeteasy.com. The price of apartment 809
was cut by $395,000, and is now listed for $4.8 million. This is the
unit’s third price cut from its original price of $5.595 million in
April 2008. The apartment is now listed at 14 percent below its original price. The owner bought the unit in May 2007 for $3.45 million.
