The unit with the biggest price cut in Manhattan today, according to Streeteasy.com, is a
three-bedroom, four-bath co-op apartment in the Rosario
Candela-designed 1040 Fifth Avenue, at 85th Street. The price of
apartment 56B was cut by $1.7 million, and it is now on the market for
$11.2 million. The prewar duplex is listed for 13 percent lower than its
original asking price of $12.9 million when it went on the market in
February. The Corcoran Group’s Immy Mullin and Ruth Samuels have the
