One Brooklyn Bridge Park adds Zipcars to amenities
One Brooklyn Bridge Park has added two Zipcars to its amenities package
for residents. The two cars are a BMW and a Honda Civic Hybrid. The
condominium has 15 amenity rooms, collectively called the Living Rooms,
that include a fitness center, yoga studio, children’s playroom, music
room and screening room. The building was developed by RAL
Companies and Affiliates with Stribling Marketing Associates as the
exclusive sales agent.

SL Green launches energy savings initiative
SL Green has launched an energy savings initiative designed to
decrease utility demand and save money. The program is expected to be
completed in 2009, and aims to cut steam usage at 13 properties by up
to 10 percent. The initiative was announced after SL Green was
presented with the Energy Star Challenge Award bronze plaque for its
efforts in reducing energy consumption at  625 Madison Avenue.

MKDA adds strategic services group
Interior design firm MKDA has launched its strategic services
group, which will be headed by managing director Robert Klein. The
group will assist companies in aligning their corporate facilities
programs with their long-term business objectives. “Today’s workplace
is in transition.” Klein said. “The changing corporate landscape means
that workplaces need to be more flexible, space efficient, sustainable
and cost effective than ever before. Our aim is to support clients in
creating efficient solutions that promote greater brand coherence while
