The state attorney general’s office has approved a condo conversion on a pre-war rental building in Greenwich Village. Developers Cheshire Group and Sterling American Property have begun marketing units at the Devonshire House, 28 East 10th Street, at an average price per foot of $1,436, which, according to Cheshire Group partner Jenifer Steig, is 10 to 15 percent below the prices they had planned on a year ago. “We are going to be realistic about what we can sell at a reasonable pace,” Steig said. “We are priced for today. No one can say this building is overpriced.”
