“Sex and the City” star lists Chelsea condo for $2.88M

Actor Kyle MacLachlan, best known for his turn as the straight-laced erstwhile Mr. Charlotte York on “Sex and the City,” has placed his three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom Chelsea condo on the market. He and wife Desiree Gruber, a celebrity publicist, are asking $2.88 million for the unit in the Chelsea Mercantile building at 252 Seventh Avenue on the corner of 24th Street. The listing, which includes a large walk-in closet and renovated bathrooms, is being marketed by Linda Gertler of the Corcoran Group.
