A four-story development in Construction On North 7th Street in Williamsburg has garnered 29 violations and $10,000 in fines from the city and has trespassed into neighboring condominiums, according to the Brooklyn Paper. The Michael Siwiec-developed building is rising on a site that has been vacant for four years but tucked closely between a pre-war brownstone and a Karl Fischer-designed luxury condo. In some areas there’s less than a foot between the building in construction and the neighboring residences, which not only makes construction difficult, but also infuriates neighbors, one of which reported that his apartment “shakes like an earthquake” during construction. The developer did not respond to the Paper’s inquiries.  [Brooklyn Paper]
