Brooklyn’s Manhattan Beach found to be among NYC’s priciest neighborhoods
When thinking of New York’s hottest and priciest neighborhoods, Soho, Tribeca and the West Village come to mind in Manhattan, and Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope and Williamsburg in Brooklyn. But according to Property Shark data cited by the New York Daily News, one the city’s priciest neighborhoods is the oft–overlooked Manhattan Beach in Brooklyn.
Property Shark analyzed the median sales prices of homes across New York City during the past three months and found that residences in Soho, Tribeca, the Flatiron District, Manhattan Beach, and the West Village were the priciest.

Many of the residents of the small neighborhood, bordered by Sheepshead Bay to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the south, are older, wealthy European immigrants.
