Considering the success of 15 Central Park West and 18 Gramercy Park, it looks like Arthur and William Zeckendorf are taking another shot at their luck. The Wall Street Journal reported that the duo filed a building permit for a 51-story condominium property at 43 East 60th Street — according to an unnamed source, Robert A.M. Stern, the architect behind 15 Central Park West, will be designing the new condo.

Located between Madison and Park avenues, the condo would have 30 units. The Zeckendorfs have reportedly been planning this tower for seven years; they even filed plans for it back in 2006. However, the Journal said there have been delays in emptying the building of commercial tenants.

The Zeckendorfs recently broke ground at 50 United Nations Plaza, a 44-story development at 47th Street and First Avenue. [WSJ, 1st item]Zachary Kussin
