Bed-Stuy condo sale for nearly $1M sets record

A two-bedroom penthouse condominium at 105 Lexington Avenue has sold for $999,000, making it the most expensive condo sold in Brooklyn’s Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, according to Alexander Maroni of Douglas Elliman, who had the listing.

Only a few units in the building, Lot 58 Lofts, sold about two years ago, but 11 have moved already this year, Maroni told the New York Daily News. The record-setter is a 1,559-square-foot apartment with two bathrooms and access to a roof deck.

The four-story building was converted to lofts in 2008; it has contains 32 units — all sold, Maroni told The Real Deal.

A 2,525-square-foot duplex at 95 Lexington Avenue also is on the market for $999,000, StreetEasy shows. – Mark Maurer
