“American Idol” franchise creator Simon Fuller bought a condominium at The Plaza for $3.25 million, Real Estate Weekly reported.

The 1,155-square-foot apartment on the ninth floor of the landmark 20-story hotel sold for the asking price after two days on the market. The living room has French doors facing the private Plaza Gardens. Susan Song of Stribling & Associates had the listing, the publication said.
