Long Island City’s 4545 Center Boulevard 50 percent leased

TF Cornerstone’s Rental Tower 4545 Center Boulevard, in Long Island City, has leased half of its 820 apartments, according to a statement provided to The Real Deal.

About two months ago, the marketing campaign launched for the 41-story tower — the fifth property to premiere in TF Cornerstone’s 21-acre East Coast project. The final building of the project topped out last month. Prices start at $2,200 for studios, $2,800 for one-bedrooms, $3,875 for two-bedrooms and $5,390 for three-bedrooms, as previously reported.

“Young couples and families have flocked to the area, attracted to the family atmosphere paired with luxury and convenience just minutes from Manhattan,” Sofia Estevez, executive vice president of TF Cornerstone, said in a statement.

The tower recently added a ground-floor children’s center, New York Kids Club, containing a gym and outdoor play area that will open sometime next year, the spokesperson said.

New York-based architecture firm Arquitectonica designed the building, while the New York-based design firm Rockwell Group oversaw the interior design. Building amenities include a fitness center, bicycle storage, indoor parking lot, 24-hour concierge and valet, a children’s playroom and 50,000 square feet of outdoor space, including a dog run and a sun deck.

Preschool New York Kids Club recently signed a 15-year, 5,003-square-foot lease at the building, according to the New York Observer. [NYO] — Mark Maurer
