Savanna brings cosmetics firm HQ to 1375 Broadway

Tarte Cosmetics is moving its headquarters into 1375 Broadway. The cosmetics company founded by Maureen Kelly is leaving its current office at 224 West 35th Street to occupy 15,439 square feet on the eighth floor of Savanna’s building.

Robert Kaplan of Hidrock Realty represented Tarte Cosmetics in the transaction, while Eric Meyer, Martin Meyer and Michael Thomas from Colliers International represented the landlord, the New York Observer reported.

Cooper Kramer, vice president of Savanna, told the Observer that the firm “has recently completed major repositioning at 1375 Broadway.” He added that upgrades to the property have included “a modern entrance leading into an open, bright renovated lobby.”

Since acquiring the building in 2010, Savanna has leased more than 110,000-square-feet in the property. Approximately 60,000 square feet of the 500,000-square-foot building are vacant. [NYO] – James Comtois
