Slain landlord Menachem Stark’s killers likely meant to ditch the body further from New York City, but wound up in Great Neck as a snowstorm brewed.

Video footage of the white van used in Stark’s Jan. 2 kidnapping shows the van circling the area in Great Neck where the body was ultimately found.

“They were zigzagging,” a police source said told the New York Daily News. “You can see them going back and forth in the same area … The belief is they wanted to drive way out onto (Long) Island to get rid of the body. Instead, because of the snow, they wound up in Great Neck.”

Stark was stalked for weeks prior to the slaying, police told the New York Post earlier this week.

Stark’s family doubled a $25,000 reward for information in the ongoing investigation, and the NYPD also chipped in $22,000, according to the Daily News. Stark’s business partner Israel Perlmutter is reportedly being considered a possible suspect, though he has denied the allegations. [NYDN]Julie Strickland
