Urgent care clinic leases first location, plans five more

Cure Urgent Care has inked a lease for almost 5,000 square feet on the Upper West Side, part of a planned roll out of six such clinics in the city over the next year and a half.

The walk-in clinic will open in May in the ground floor of 2689 Broadway, between West 102nd and 103rd streets. The building is owned by Marseilles Housing Co., which will get $90 per square foot for the space.

Dmitry Levkov, a Director at Colliers International, represented the Cure Urgent Care in the transaction while Jay Gilbert of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank Retail represented Marseilles.

Five more clinics are opening in the next 18 months, including a location in Greenwich Village (where St. Vincent’s hospital was closed in 2010 and converted into the controversial Greenwich Lane condo development in 2013, leaving residents in need of medical facilities, they claim). Other outposts are slated for Tribeca and Battery Park City, according to Crain’s.
