Connecticut horse farm listed for $55M

A nearly 100-acre horse farm in Ridgefield, Conn., has hit the market for $55 million, highlighting the state’s super pricey suburban luxury market.

The land holds three houses, two barns, a Grand Prix jumping field, pool, spa and tennis court. Railroad mogul Hunter Harrison and his wife moved in in 2005 and renovated the former dairy farm into an equestrian facility. The main house features six bedrooms and a living room with 38-foot ceilings.

Douglas Elliman broker Sally Slater has the listing, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal.
