WEEKENDEDITION After waffling back and forth, Mayor Bill de Blasio has decided not to move into Gracie Mansion until after the school year.

“It looks like it’ll probably happen sometimes after the school year is over, so [the mayor’s son] Dante will not have his life disrupted too much,” ABC-7 reporter Dave Evans announced on air, after interviewing de Blasio on Wednesday.

A spokesperson for de Blasio confirmed that it would be several months before the mayor made the move, according to Capital New York.

In December, de Blasio announced on his website that he and his family would make a temporary move to the five-bedroom estate overlooking the East River at East End Avenue and 88th Street. [Capital New York] – Christopher Cameron
