Brodsky maisonette buyer tries for $6M flip after five months
Combined six-bedroom located on East 79th Street
Convenience store fortune heir Gerald Erickson Jr. is trying for a quick flip and $6 million profit with the sale of a 135 East 79th Street condominium purchased only five months ago.
One of the Brodsky Organization’s 29 units snapped up soon after hitting the market last year, the townhouse-style maisonette was originally configured as two separate apartments and combined into a 4,803-square-foot home. Erickson paid $11.85 for the pair, and has now relisted the combined pad for $18.5 million.
The six-bedroom home boasts a 972-square-foot terrace, customized floating staircase and private elevator access. [BrickUnderground] — Julie Strickland
