One57 condo goes for $19M
New owners paid $6.1M for Mandarin Oriental pad in 2010
A couple currently residing at Columbus Circle shelled out $19 million last month to snag a condo a few blocks away at One57, city records show.
Yu Ting and Yu Wen Huang paid $19.1 million for the 50th-story apartment in Extell’s tower, public records filed Monday show. It was the first time the unit was sold. The Extell sales team could not be immediately reached for comment.
The Huangs bought their current apartment on the 69th floor of the Mandarin Oriental hotel at Time Warner Center in 2010 for $6.1 million, records show.
Sales at One57 started in late 2011 and the building is about 75 percent sold, The Real Deal previously reported.
