Fresh renderings of Art House, a Jersey City residential development, are here, and the white-brick façade gives the building a distinctively retro look.
The Shuster Group project, which is located at 148 First Street in the rapidly growing Powerhouse Arts District, was designed by architect Fogarty Finger, according to New York YIMBY.
The 12-story development will have 119 units, and a portion of the lobby will be used as a creative space and gallery for local artists.
“Seventy percent of all sales proceeds will go directly to the artists, with 30 percent donated to the Jersey City Economic Development Corporation to help fund visual art classes,” the developer said in a statement.
The project is nearly completed, and is expected to open this September. [New York YIMBY] – Christopher Cameron
