JPMorgan Chase digital arm eyeing 5 Manhattan West

Tech-friendly building on 33rd Street getting $200M makeover

Chase Digital Media, the mobile and website division of JPMorgan Chase, is in talks to occupy 150,000 square feet at Brookfield Office Properties’ 5 Manhattan West.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Bruce Mosler is representing the landlord, while JLL’s Peter Riguardi is representing JPMorgan Chase. Brookfield is in the process of giving the 1.7 million-square-foot tower at 450 West 33rd Street a $200 million makeover.

If a deal is cut, Chase would not be the first tech tenant. Digital advertising firm R/GA Media Group signed a lease for 173,000 square feet there last month, as previously reported. [NYP] — Mark Maurer
