Benenson Capital Partners' plans unknown for 333 East 14th Street

After shuttering the Peter Stuyvesant Post Office for good in February, Benenson Capital Partners filed demolition plans for the East Village building and the neighboring stationary shop on Friday.

The post office and former Stuyvesant Stationary shop at 438 East 14th Street will succumb to unspecified new development, which, according to EV Grieve, has been rumored for some time now. Benenson tested the site’s soil in September following asbestos removal in August.
