Jane Wenner, co-founder of Rolling Stone magazine and ex-wife of Jann Wenner, put her five-story Upper West Side townhouse back on the market for $17.95 million. She last listed the seven-bedroom Victorian home at 37 West 70th Street, between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West, in May 2013, as The Real Deal reported. Wolf Jakubowski of Brown Harris Stevens had the listing at the time. Wenner received two offers, but turned both down because she said she was not ready to sell.

Mark Thomas Amadel and Roberta Golubock of Sotheby’s International Realty have the listing now.

Fashion designer Perry Ellis formerly owned the house, which underwent a major renovation in the 1980s. The Rolling Stone founders raised their family there but divorced in 2011. [NYT]Mark Maurer

Great home and great location if you can stand the intrusive awful jackhammering from another townhouse renovation 2 doors down This week appears to have a Stop Work Order but unfortunately at some point it will resume. Has been a nightmare.
