Douglas Elliman is getting ready to hit the slopes, with the acquisition of one of Aspen’s major realty firms.

In a deal announced late Thursday, Douglas Elliman acquired Joshua & Co., led by longtime broker Joshua Saslove, according to the Aspen Times.

“It’s definitely going to change the complexion of the real estate market in Aspen,” Saslove said Friday. “Douglas Elliman brings a huge clientele and network to our office, directly to Aspen.”

No word yet on what Elliman paid for Saslove’s firm.

“Our Aspen expansion is a continuation of Douglas Elliman’s commitment to providing our clients with a comprehensive real estate experience,” Howard Lorber, chairman of Douglas Elliman, said in a prepared statement. [Aspen Times]Christopher Cameron
