Kiefer Sutherland’s former West Village home is trading hands again, after 16 months.
The West Village townhouse at 763 Greenwich Street hit the market in October with an ask of $22 million. Owner Lisa Matlin, wife of distressed debt king David Matlinhas, lowered the price to $20 million soon after, the New York Daily News reported. The couple bought the home from Sutherland for $17.5 million in September 2012. The actor paid $8 million for the townhouse in 2008.
Urban Compass’ Leonard Steinberg, who had the listing, declined to tell the paper the purchase price.
The townhouse includes five-and-a-half bathrooms. Before Sutherland bought the home – and sold it in less than 24 hours after listing the mansion — it underwent a Steven Gambrel renovation. The home is also elevator equipped, includes a rooftop terrace with an outdoor shower and a landscaped courtyard.[NYDN] — Claire Moses
