The top-floor duplex penthouse at Nolita’s Puck Penthouses is set to hit the market for $66 million, as owner Jared Kushner sets his sights on a Downtown record.

The apartment is one of six units developed by Kushner Cos. that sit atop the landmarked Puck Building at 295 Lafayette Street. The unit is a six-bedroom, seven-and-a-half-bath home sprawling over 7,241 square feet, with an additional 5,158 square feet of outdoor space.

Historic architectural details like barrel vaulted ceilings have been updated with modern amenities such as an outdoor hot tub with an Empire State building view, the Wall Street Journal reported.

According to Jonathan Miller of real estate appraisal company Miller Samuel, the most expensive Downtown residential sale to date is the $50.9 million purchase of a Walker Tower penthouse. Nikki Field of Sotheby’s International Realty has the Puck Building penthouse listing.

This is the fourth unit for sale in the building since sales began in the Fall of 2013. So far, one unit has sold for $28 million, according to the Journal. [WSJ]Tess Hofmann
