Neuberger Berman hasn’t moved into its new Manhattan headquarters yet, but the investment firm is already expanding its new office.

In total, the firm will occupy roughly 400,000 square feet at its new Sixth Avenue location.

The firm added 47,000 square feet to the 355,000-square-foot, 20-year lease it signed at 1290 Sixth Avenue in May, according to Crain’s. The company is expected to move into the new location, which is owned by Vornado Realty Trust, at the end of 2016.

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Neil Goldmacher represented Neuberger Berman.

Asking rents at the 43-story tower are in the $70s per square foot, according to the website. Hachette Book Group is also located in the building.

At the moment, Neuberger Berman’s headquarters is located at 605 Third Avenue. [Crain’s] — Claire Moses
