From Luxury Listings NYC: Celebrity pastry chef Dominique Ansel drew crowds last year with his doughnut-crossiant hybrid. But his latest effort will be Cronut-free. This spring Ansel will open a pastry shop at 137 Seventh Avenue South at West 10th Street in the West Village. The shop will use the techniques of a restaurant kitchen, offering all his pastries and desserts à la minute (made to order), according to the New York Times. [more]
