UPDATED, 10:24 a.m., Jan. 28: The Partridge family, a Queens-based private investor, is asking $45 million for the Jamaica Colosseum Mall.

The 50,000-square-foot pedestrian mall at 89-02 165th Street in Jamaica offers 250,000 buildable square feet. The asking price of $180 per buildable square foot is higher than many other sites in the neighborhood, New York YIMBY reported.

The property initially housed a Macy’s in 1947 and was expanded into a mall in the 1980s. A jewelry exchange and parking garage now largely occupy the site.

Yona Edelkopf’s Epic Commercial Real Estate, a brokerage formerly known as Itzhaki Properties, is marketing the mall, which has frontage on 164th Street, 165th Street and 89th Avenue. Brokers Ofer Cohen and Sasson Elya are representing the seller. [NY YIMBY]Mark Maurer
