Here were January’s priciest listings in Brooklyn, Queens

Houses in Mill Basin, Belle Harbor lead the pack

A five-bedroom Mill Basin townhouse asking $8 million was the priciest home to hit the market in Brooklyn in January, according to information provided by listings service Point2 Homes.

The Corcoran Group’s Leslie Marshall and James Cornell and Douglas Elliman’s Lauren Muss have the listing for the three-story, 7,800-square-foot home at 2387 56th Drive.

The asking price is more than $2 million higher than that of the second home on the list. A four-bedroom penthouse condominium unit at the 53-story tower 388 Bridge in Downtown Brooklyn was listed for just shy of $6 million. Halstead Property’s Vanessa Connelly and Molly Bloom have the listing at what is currently Brooklyn’s tallest apartment building.

The next apartment is also a penthouse condo listed with Halstead. A four-bedroom unit at 51 Jay Street – Slate Property Group and Adam America’s condo project in Dumbo that recently launched sales – is asking $5.2 million. Deborah Brener Zolan is the broker.

A five-bedroom Carroll Gardens townhouse spanning 3,700 square feet was listed for $5 million. Karen Heyman and Alan Heyman of Sotheby’s International Realty have the listing for both this 10-room home at 294a Sackett Street, as well as a three-bedroom condo at 1 John Street in Dumbo, asking $4.99 million.

A condo at One Brooklyn Bridge Park asking $32 million remained Brooklyn’s priciest listing overall in January. But that is about to change — a $40 million Brooklyn Heights mansion broke the record earlier this week for priciest Brooklyn listing ever.
