23 contracts for $4M or more signed in first week of July

A total of 23 contracts were signed for $4 million or more in the week ending in July Fourth, according to the latest Olshan Realty luxury report.

The biggest contract of the week was a penthouse at Metro Loft’s 443 Greenwich Street, a condo duplex asking $15 million. The unit spans 3,438 square feet and includes three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The former factory, which was built in the 1880s, includes 53 condominiums as well as a lap pool, a fitness center, a garage with valet parking, a garden and a roof deck. Jennifer Lawrence was spotted scoping out units at the Tribeca building last week.

The second biggest contract of the week was a four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom unit at 344 West 72nd Street for $9.8 million. The unit at HFZ Capital’s the Chatsworth spans 3,600 square feet.
